Greetings! Since we do not have an appointed Speaker, I would like to open the floor on behalf of the Tri-Chancellory. I would like to directly move to the election of a Speaker of the Council. The Speaker may be anyone of the Council. However it is preferred it be a member of the Tri-Chancellor (Founders or Leader). The Speaker will loose his/her spot for a vote, unless a tie occurs. The Tri-Chancellor members are strongly recommeneded since they have a working knowledge of the Consitution and the workings of the party. I for one would be interested in this position. If anyone else is interested, please respond here, followed by a seconder.. *perhaps someone if they feel deserving to, Nominate ALP?? * GOOD LUCK !

Since there is no speaker at the moment I shall speak freely. I believe that ALP would be a wonderful Speaker, he has my support

I will await one more additional member to vote for the Speakership. Aldeer Anceltierre has one additional vote upon the approval of the Decleration.
So, it means, Deputy Leader Boktavia and Aldeer Kaltania can vote Yea or Nea for ALP's Speakership, or nominate another member. With Aldeer Anceltierre's additional vote, Tri-Chancellor ALP may have to break a tie if need be!

Thank you Mr. Leader
*Charles Tripp, the Tri-Chancellor, Rep for ALP and now elected-Speaker, walks up the the Podium*
"Greetings Fellow Members. This position you have elected me to serve, I will uphold to the highest of not only my nation's standard, but of the UDA Party. I will be fair, but firm on some policy review. This considering I am still a Tri-Chancellor which makes me responsible for Policy Clarrification. That in mind, since I am now the Speaker of the Council, I will make sure the communication in the Council stays at a fair level."
((The Council Applauds to the newly elected Speaker of the Council))
"Now, for the ground rules: 1 - One (1) Council Rep (Aldeer, Leader, Deputy, Tri-Chancellor) will be recognized at a time. 2 - The order shall try and follow "Robert's Rules" 3 - In addition, all Council Members will ask to be recognize, vote, or call a "point of order" with: (Stand) "Mr. Speaker...." and then wait to be acknowledged from the Seat. 4 - Members who have a vote, have the right to stand in this Great Council of Ours and speak. 5 - 'Point of Order' may be called out-aloud by any member of the Council, if he/she believes a rule has been violated, or is in need of Clarification and Finally..... 6 - A new thread under the Council Category, may only be created by the Speaker. Any member may ask for a start in a new issue *and after approval, may be posted on as a seperate thread...* Officers / Aldeers, you have Offices, you may govern them as you wish, since it is yours."
"Now, since this is my first day, I will open the Council to a new issue that is being discussed in the 'Debate!' section of our Regional Forum. The following will be discussed and debated upon in THIS council for the next 12-24 Hours, then the Leader will have the pleasure in responding as a party. The decision of the Council, will be that of the Direction and Statement of the Party.."
Issue(s):[/u] Should TITO lauch pre-emptive strikes against region crashers? and Should non-TITO Nations play a bigger role in 10000 Islands?
"On that topic, when a member state of the UDA makes any reference to a response in any form of POlitical Setting of a Party, you must have the approval of the Council, or simply state "This is not the official statement of the UDA"

(Stands) "Mr.Speaker I firmly believe we should launch pre-emptive strikes on region crashers, but this should be examined much more closely then a regular defensive move-in. Of course non-TITO nations should play a bigger role here in 10000 Islands, just not in the goverment.
