UDA COUNCIL ELECTION (Post: Feb 19)

It is the duty of the Speaker to announce certain consitutional situations and/or Council Proceedures.

It has come to the Attention of the Council, by members who will remain nameless, that an election should be called, and the UDA Council be disolved until the new elected members take office.

Since this is a matter of Constitutional matters and of confidence, the Speaker of the Council will now as the Honourable Leader of the UDA Party to comply with the disolvement, and allow an election to commence....

The Honourable Leader of the UDA Party has the floor

In response to this new turn of events, I must say that you have my full support. I believe the people should have the power and as my belief I will follow it.

In accordance to this I say
"Mr. Speaker, as Leader of the UDA Party, I will now ask the Chair to disolve the United Democratic Alliance Party Council until a new elected Council can commence a second Seating.."

Under Section:
9-0-0 UDA MANAGEMENT

"The UDA Council shall, under the leadership of the Council Officers and in co-ordination with UDA requirements, carry out such actions as needed to meet the UDA Objectives as detailed at Item 3 of this document"

The Council will hearby be disolved until an election is completed.

Effective February 19, 2004 - 7:20pm est.

Be It So Ordered, By the powers of the Constitution and authorization of this Chair and Leader, the UDA Council - 1st Seating- is herby disolved.
